Tona B. Dahlquist Casting is seeking paid extras to star in the upcoming “Keeping Score” movie currently filming in Wilmington and the surrounding areas on the North Carolina coast.

The agency needs 23 people with “upscale or nice vehicles” to shoot scenes on Tuesday, June 9. No white, black or bright red vehicles are allowed, but maroon or burgundy are OK, the listing says.

“Owners will be filming inside (driving or parking) as well as outside of the vehicle in other scenes,” according to the casting call. “(Actors) must be prepared to film both.”

It’s one of the last filming dates using background actors in the project, which is rumored to be linked to the upcoming “The Summer I Turned Pretty” movie.

That film will be a continuation of the hit coming-of-age series, using working titles “Keeping Score” and “Blue Christmas,” for casting purposes, according to a production report posted on Threads.

Here’s what else to know:

Background actors will be paid $143, plus an additional $25 for use of their car while filming, the listing says.

The romantic drama following teen Isabel “Belly” Conklin, ran for three seasons on Amazon Prime. At the series finale celebration, the studio announced plans for a feature film that would pick up where the show left off, The News & Observer previously reported.

Details about the plot or a possible release date remain under wraps, however.

“There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due,” Jenny Han, author of the book series-turned-TV show, said at the time.

“I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans.”
