Host and Capitol bureau chief Dawn Vaughan<\/b> of The News & Observer is joined by Charlotte Observer politics and government reporter Mary Ramsey<\/b> for a closer look at the upcoming House Oversight hearing about a 6-year-old girl\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Lawmakers are asking questions about what happened to Dominique Moody.<\/b> The girl\u2019s legal guardian and two other women are charged in her death,<\/a> the Observer reported.<\/p>\n

Police and social services officials received reports about Moody\u2019s home before she died, the Observer reported.<\/a> Legislation named for Dominique would establish a new team to review serious child welfare cases.<\/p>\n
