Junior College transfer Shah Hall signed with the Pack Monday after committing last week. Hall, who spent last season at Shelton State, originally signed to Alabama-Birmingham in April but recently reopened his recruitment.<\/p>\n

Hall averaged 9.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game, while shooting 65.1% from the field. Coupled with his 28 starts, the Tuscaloosa, Alabama, native earned Junior College All-America Honorable Mention honors. He attended Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa High School and was previously pursued by the Crimson Tide.<\/p>\n

Hall is 6-foot-11 and 240 pounds. He will provide additional depth behind expected starting center Kyle Evans.<\/p>\n

The incoming junior started his career at Northwest Mississippi Community College before transferring to Shelton State where he attended for two years. Hall missed most of the 2024-25 season due to a foot injury and is expected to have two seasons of eligibility remaining.<\/p>\n

Following Hall\u2019s commitment to the Wolfpack, Eatmon posted on social media, \u201cGo shock the world, big fella!\u201d<\/p>\n

N.C. State hosted Hall for an official visit over the weekend. He also visited Arkansas and was reportedly expected to meet with Mississippi State and Ole Miss.<\/p>\n

The Wolfpack\u2019s roster has 13 players, including Hall, and has room for two others. N.C. State\u2019s frontcourt now includes Evans, Hall, Robert Jukovi\u0107, Eemeli Yalaho and returner Zymicah Wilkins.<\/p>\n
