The Commodores will pay the Wolfpack $400,000 for their game in Nashville on Sept. 19, according to the contract from 2015. Roles will be reversed in 2028, and N.C. State will pay Vanderbilt the same sum for its trip to Raleigh.<\/p>\n

Appalachian State was originally scheduled<\/a> to host N.C. State in 2025, but it was postponed to 2028 after changes to the ACC scheduling requirements. That was replaced by the Virginia series, which was expected to be a non-conference matchup before the league went to a nine-game conference scheduling model.<\/p>\n
