{"id":3975,"date":"2026-07-05T19:06:13","date_gmt":"2026-07-05T19:06:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/durhammovinghub.com\/?p=3975"},"modified":"2026-07-05T19:06:13","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T19:06:13","slug":"publix-fruit-recalled-after-12-customers-got-e-coli-linked-stomach-illnesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/durhammovinghub.com\/?p=3975","title":{"rendered":"Publix fruit recalled after 12 customers got E. coli-linked stomach illnesses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Frozen fruit sold under Publix\u2019s GreenWise brand has been recalled in Florida and seven other states out of fears it might be contaminated with a deadly form of E. coli.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/durhammovinghub.com\/?p=3973\">Amanda Kloots Pays Tribute to Nick Cordero 6 Years After His Death<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chilean company Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. recalled only lot No. 60401 of GreenWise Organic Whole Blueberries, which had a best by date of Feb. 9, 2028, and came in 10-ounce bags.<\/p>\n<p>But the recall notice posted to Publix\u2019s website said, \u201cPublix is advising customers <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.publix.com\/newsroom\/recalls\/publix-greenwise-blueberries\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">return or discard any frozen GreenWise blueberries products<\/a> with a purchase date of Friday, July 3, 2026, or before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/news\/recalls\/article316361405.html\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">READ MORE: Two types of fireworks recalled around the United States two days before July 4<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>This covers Publix stores in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia and Tennessee. Customers should also check their freezers.<\/p>\n<p>The E. coli strain is O145:H28, one of the Shiga-toxin producing forms of E. coli.
