“TOO AGGRESSIVE ??” Jen captioned a TikTok compilation<\/a> on Sunday, July 12, that showed her posing in various bikinis and shorts at Gal’s coffeeshop in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The former couple poked fun at their dramatic split<\/a> in the pics, with Jen throwing coffee in Gal’s face.<\/p>\n

Before their reunion, Jen and Gal formed a connection during season 8’s Casa Amor – only to call it quits once everyone was reunited in the villa. Gal’s decision not to couple up with Jen caused her elimination. Gal, however, was removed just a few short hours later after being voted out by his fellow Islanders.<\/p>\n

Ahead of her exit, Jen was surprisingly candid on camera<\/a> while admitting to struggling when guys in the villa don’t show interest in her.<\/p>\n

“I know that I am gorgeous and stunning, but here – besides when I was with Gabe – I felt like, \u2018Am I hideous?'” she said in a June episode. “Is there something wrong with me? Does my personality suck?”<\/p>\n

She continued: “Normally I am used to guys drooling over me. Here, it has been so hard.”<\/p>\n

Love Island USA<\/em> follows a group of singles<\/a> who are challenged to pair off in order to stay in the show’s luxury villa and have a chance at winning the $100,000 prize. The contestants – a.k.a. Islanders – live in isolation under constant video surveillance.<\/p>\n

Last year, the show broke records as season 7 brought in 18.4 billion streaming minutes, making it the most-watched original season of television on the platform.<\/p>\n

“[This season] there’s a lot more emphasis put on the journey as opposed to the result,” narrator Iain Stirling told Us Weekly exclusively in July 2025. “I think it’s about the journey of finding someone and how you grow as a person by doing that. Whereas five or six years ago, you had, like, proper millennials in there. There was that more traditional approach to dating.”<\/p>\n

While some fans questioned the love journeys<\/a>, Stirling was on board with the Islanders taking a different approach.<\/p>\n

“The end goal [was] to be with someone and you have this contract with someone you’re in a relationship with to honor that person and to honor that relationship,” he noted. “I think now there’s a lot more people who make contracts with themselves to have the journey that they want and the experience they’re after.”<\/p>\n

He added, “These people are predominantly speaking in their early 20s. If you can’t be selfish dating then – then when can you? Especially people from my generation, they weren’t selfish in their 20s and maybe did not want to upset people. Then they get to sort of 30 to 40 and get divorced and go insane. Maybe it’s the healthier way to do it.”<\/p>\n

Season 8, which premiered in June, continued to find major success, ranking as the No. 1 streaming reality series for five consecutive weeks. During Sunday’s season finale, Trinity Tatum <\/strong>and Bryce Alakai Dettloff<\/strong> got the most votes. Aniya Harvey <\/strong>and Carl Lee Schmidt<\/strong> came in second and Melanie Moreno <\/strong>and Sincere Rhea<\/strong> took third place while Kayda Bosse <\/strong>and Zach Georgiou<\/strong> were in fourth.<\/p>\n
