\u201cThe launch of these programs represents an important step in the university\u2019s continued operational efforts to expand educational opportunities while responding to workforce needs across North Carolina,\u201d a statement on St. Augustine\u2019s website<\/a> reads.<\/p>\n

St. Augustine\u2019s also has a \u201clongstanding partnership\u201d with Ed2Go, a vendor of continuing education courses.<\/p>\n

The school is also selling merchandise on Amazon, it announced<\/a> in late June. Supporters can buy T-shirts, sweaters, stickers, license plate frames, and more.<\/p>\n

The city of Raleigh has filed a notice of appearance in St. Augustine\u2019s bankruptcy case. That means the city is \u201cmonitoring [the case] closely,\u201d Robin Deacle, Raleigh\u2019s communications director, told The News & Observer.<\/p>\n

The university owes an unknown amount to the city\u2019s public utility authority, and in late June, received a $40,000 bill from the city.<\/p>\n
