Were dogs found at scene involved?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Chatham County Sheriff\u2019s Office is investigating an elderly woman\u2019s death \u2014 and the role three dogs may have played in it.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/durhammovinghub.com\/?p=600\">Which &#8216;Shifting Gears&#8217; Stars Are \u2013 And Aren&#8217;t \u2013 Returning for Season 3?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Deputies responded to a home in the 200 block of Alston Road near Apex at 11 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a possible dog attack, the Sheriff\u2019s Office said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>They found 85-year-old Betty Alston dead outside the residence, the Sheriff\u2019s Offic said.
