John Travolta<\/strong><\/a> and Kelly Preston<\/strong><\/a>‘s daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta<\/strong>, has made a name for herself in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Ella made her acting debut in the 2009 movie Old Dogs<\/em> alongside her dad. After a 10-year break, she returned to the screen in 2019’s The Poison Rose<\/em> and hasn’t stopped since.<\/p>\n

The father-daughter duo collaborated once again in the 2026 movie Propeller One-Way Night Coach<\/em><\/a>, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival. Ella starred as a flight attendant in the movie, which her father narrated and directed.<\/p>\n

“I had this plan of introducing Ella to the world as an adult in this very Audrey Hepburn<\/strong>, Grace Kelly<\/strong> kind of way,” John said during a May 2026 appearance on Today<\/em><\/a>. “I did everything I could to really set the scene for this kind of introduction, and it’s made a big impact so far. I’m so proud of her.”<\/p>\n

During the same interview, Ella praised her father’s “natural” directing skills.<\/p>\n

“It was so inspiring and so incredible because he had the whole film, all the music, all the shots, everything in his head beforehand,” she recalled. “We went to the TWA terminal together, and we filmed the whole beginning of the movie on an iPhone, and I stood in for all the characters, and he edited it.”<\/p>\n

She added, “He just knew exactly what he wanted to accomplish, and he achieved that incredibly.”<\/p>\n

John welcomed daughter Ella with late wife Preston in April 2000. She is the couple’s only daughter.<\/p>\n

John and Preston, who died at age 57<\/a> in July 2020 after a battle with breast cancer, were also parents to son Benjamin, born in November 2010, and late son Jett, who died of a seizure at 16 in January 2009.<\/p>\n

Ella is an actress, having made her onscreen debut in 2009. She’s appeared in Old Dogs<\/em>, The Poison Rose<\/em>, Alicia in Wonderland<\/em> and Propeller One-Way Night Coach<\/em> with other roles on the horizon.<\/p>\n

Along with her acting career, Ella has made a name for herself as a singer. She released her debut EP, Colors of Love<\/em>, in 2024, which her father coproduced.<\/p>\n

“He was like, \u2018Oh, wow, you should really finish these. You should finish these songs, and then you could record demos of them or something,'” Ella told People<\/em><\/a> in October 2024 of how John inspired her music career.<\/p>\n

The father-daughter duo worked together on Old Dogs<\/em>, in which Ella made her film debut. He also cast her in Propeller One-Way Night Coach<\/em> in 2026.<\/p>\n

Ella has taken to Instagram with several tributes to her late mom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you,” she captioned a post about Preston in July 2020. “Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy. Thank you for being there for me no matter what.”<\/p>\n
