Todd A. Rodriguez, Fox Rothschild\u2019s Firmwide Managing Partner, issued a statement Friday night, offering support to Harris, Whitley and the office\u2019s staff. He said the firm\u2019s leadership team traveled to Raleigh to better monitor the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst and foremost, our thoughts are with our colleagues and their loved ones,\u201d Rodriguez said in the statement. \u201cWe are doing everything possible to support them. We are grateful to the first responders and courthouse personnel who acted quickly to come to their aid.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe cannot adequately express our deep sadness and concern. The safety and well-being of our people is our highest priority.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Friday, White was urging a judge to compel the Rolesville Police Department to release body camera footage that officers recorded responding to a \u201cverbal altercation\u201d in 2021 between White and her neighbors.<\/p>\n

She said police had not provided complete footage of the incident \u2014 which police say was deleted after 30 days \u2014 and filed a motion of contempt in her case, court records detail.<\/p>\n

The town of Rolesville issued a statement following the shooting, confirming the town\u2019s civil case was involved in Friday\u2019s events.<\/p>\n

\u201cFox Rothschild has represented the town of Rolesville for decades, and while they are not employees of the town, this incident is deeply disturbing,\u201d according to the statement. \u201cOur thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.\u201d<\/p>\n
