The Carolina Hurricanes plan to celebrate their big Stanley Cup win with a massive celebration Saturday that’s expected to draw thousands to downtown Raleigh.

The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Hillsborough and St. Mary’s street on the west side of downtown Raleigh. From there, it travels east through the heart of downtown, skirts the State Capitol and ends at the end of Fayetteville Street, where a rally at City Plaza will follow with players, coaches and team guests.
