Krispy Kreme: Customers wearing red, white and blue can get one free Original Glazed doughnut. There are multiple locations across the Triangle.
Hardee’s: Customers using the My Rewards app can get a free Star-Spangled Biscuit July 3-5, a spokesperson said. There are multiple locations across the Triangle.

Great American Cookies: Active-duty military and veterans can get a free Stars & Stripes Sprinkle Cookie from July 1-4, according to QSR. Customers must show valid ID to claim. The nearest Triangle location is in Sanford, at 3268 N.C. 87.
Travel Centers of America: Active and retired military members can eat free at participating full- and quick-service restaurants. Free meals up to $18 at full-service and $15 at quick-service are available if customers ask to speak to the manager. The nearest location is in Johnston County, at 923 Johnston Parkway in Kenley.
