According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Monday July 6, Marcellus, 51, was issued a no contact order on Sunday, July 5, prohibiting him from contacting the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum after he allegedly threatened to kill her.
The documents reveal the court has ordered the ex-football star to stay at least 500 feet away from Annemarie, 42, their marital residence and her place of employment.
Marcellus has also been ordered to avoid any communication with his wife orally or in any written form, including reaching out to her via email or on social media, per the docs.
It states that he cannot use their three children to deliver Annemarie any messages or say anything to intimidate her. TMZ was first to report the news.
The conditions of Marcellus’ release, also obtained by Us, outlines that he cannot possess any weapons or firearms and must maintain a separate residence. The documents do, however, note that he can return to their home one time with a police escort to collect his belongings.
The judge also gave him permission to leave Florida and return home to California.
“You are prohibited from having any type of contact with the victim(s), either directly or indirectly. An order of no contact is effective immediately and enforceable for the duration of the pretrial release or until it is modified by the court,” the no contact order reads. “You cannot contact the victim(s) even if it is to visit any children until you get a court order allowing contact.”
Us reached out to Annamarie and Marcellus’ reps for comment.
As Us previously reported, Marcellus was arrested on Saturday, July 4, for his alleged role in a reported altercation with his wife during a stay at a Marriott hotel in Florida.

When police arrived, Annemarie claimed that Marcellus told her “he was going to kill her” after he had “put his hands on her,” according to her official witness statement.
She claimed that Marcellus “used one finger to sternly and intentionally poke her in the cheek” the morning before his alleged threat. According to her, this incident occurred in front of their 7-year-old daughter.
The ex-reality star also alleged that Marcellus had an “unreported history of violence” toward her and she planned to divorce him when they got home.
Marcellus denied the accusations, telling police he did not get physical with Annemarie nor have the pair ever been involved in a physically violent incident. He also showed alleged texts between them from July 3 and July 4, which officers noted were “cordial.”
While they did not observe any visible injuries on Annemarie and she did not seek medical attention, they found there was enough probable cause to arrest Marcellus for domestic violence battery.
Annemarie appeared as a full-time cast member on Season 13 of RHOBH. After her debut season, she was not asked back.
Annemarie and Marcellus married in 2014 and share three children: son Marcellus Jr. and daughters Ariya and Alivia. He also has a son from a previous relationship.
