The News & Observer previously reported that Saccone and Schuster plan for their next Chicken Salad Chick to open in the Academy Village development in Fuquay-Varina in 2027. The pair’s long-term goal is to have eight to 10 locations across Wake, Durham and Orange counties.
In addition to their wide variety of chicken salads, the fast-casual restaurant is known for their sandwiches, pimento cheese, soups, mac and cheese and sides. Their menu consists of single-scoop and double-scoop meals starting at $10 and sandwich meals starting at $11. Customers can also choose from specialty meals with classic flavors like the BLT meal and turkey club meal.

The team behind Durham’s Chicken Salad Chick worked to allow the CSC Foundation to support CURE Childhood Cancer and local food banks with fundraisers throughout the year. As part of the pre-opening Friends & Family event in Durham, the restaurant will be raising money for Duke Children’s Hospital, a pediatric facility supporting the advancement of healthcare to children of all ages.
Chicken Salad Chick of Durham will be open Monday to Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
“We’re so excited to bring our chicken salad to the Bull City,” Kate Overpeck, the Durham location manager, said in a video posted to their Facebook. “We can’t wait to meet all of you.”
