Nazara was once located on High House Road, near H Mart in Cary. The restaurant on its Facebook page said it focused on “authentic flavors, refined presentation, and warm hospitality.”
After closing its Cary location on Saturday, July 25, Nazara is heading northwest to 13600 Falls of Neuse Road, near the intersection with Wakefield Pines Drive in Raleigh. The restaurant in its social media posts didn’t share the reason for the move.
“We’re putting the finishing touches on our new space and will announce our official opening date as soon as it’s ready,” Nazara wrote.

Last year, readers of The News & Observer nominated Nazara among the top 45 Indian restaurants in the Triangle. As the re-opening approaches, the restaurant encourages fans to check for updates on its social media pages and nazaranc.com.
The shakeup comes as other changes are hitting the food landscape in western Wake County.
Popular burger chain Shake Shack recently started welcoming customers at a nearby restaurant in Morrisville. And Lotte Plaza Market, a “Pan-Asian grocery brand,” plans to open its first North Carolina store in the same town next year, The N&O previously reported.
The N&O reached out to Nazara and is awaiting additional information about the restaurant closure.
