Raleigh police are investigating after multiple shots were fired into a Wingstop on New Bern Avenue during lunch hour Wednesday.

At 12:18 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting into the Wingstop at 4531 New Bern Ave., Raleigh police said. Multiple people were inside the restaurant at the time of the shooting, but no one was hurt or injured.
The property was damaged in the gunfire, according to police, but the extent of the damage is unclear.

All businesses in the New Bern Plaza shopping center have been evacuated as officers continue to investigate the incident, police said.
A spokesperson for the Raleigh Police Department declined to comment on whether any suspects have been identified or arrested.
