The campaign, Raleigh Rising, includes a free resource handbook, videos explaining housing issues in the area and several in-person events.
At the first Raleigh Rising event, a town hall scheduled for September, people will hear about the March survey of 500 Wake County voters, who were asked their opinions on growth, zoning and housing availability and affordability. One of the questions asked what home or condominium price they’d consider “affordable.” And 35% said under $250,000.
