There are lots of changes in the N.C. class-by-class statewide high school rankings this week.

The rankings are sponsored by The Charlotte Observer and the News & Observer of Raleigh and include rankings for teams in each of the NCHSAA’s eight classification and then an overall ranking for N.C. private and 8-man teams.
This week there are 10 new teams ranked and three new No. 1s in the various polls: Charlotte’s Corvian Community in 2A, Lenoir’s Hibriten High in 4A and TC Roberson of Skyland, NC, in 6A.
