The judge determined that Wilson is indigent, and notes that while he has two other charges pending from earlier in August — breaking and entering and violating a domestic violence protective order — he “does not have much of a criminal record.” Both of those earlier crimes were against his adoptive mother, 75-year-old state employee Jenipher Riddle-Wilson.
A hearing for this case is set for Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Orange County courthouse in Hillsborough.
