The business, owned by Evan Bush, has operated a gallery at 111 Old Williamson Road in Raleigh for three years. “The concept behind the gallery grew organically in conversation between Kate and me as we both identified a gap in the Raleigh market,” Bush said in a press release. “At long last, we are providing an underserved customer with a destination to discover one-of-a-kind restored mid-century and post-modern pieces, fine art, custom upholstery, and carefully collected home goods.”
Evan Reid’s design gallery occupies 4,200 square feet of first-floor space in a prominent downtown Raleigh building on the corner of Glenwood Avenue and Hillsborough Street. The space was previously held by Ci Design Inc., a global architecture design firm, before its expansion in another noticeable location on Hillsborough. The building, dating back to 1925, has had lots of different residents.
Anlyan’s residential interior design business, Yasu Home, has curated spaces across the country and around the Triangle. Bright, warm and cozy are recurring themes in Anlyan’s work displayed on the business’ website.

The anchor brand of the Evan Reid gallery is Kim Salmela Atelier, a California-based custom upholstery brand. The gallery is Kim Salmela first East Coast in-store appearance.
