People took to the comments to express sorrow over the decades-old business closing. “You have been a staple in Raleigh!,” a commenter said. “We are going to truly miss Adventure Landing Raleigh in the community!!! So many fun memories had with our kiddos over the years!”

In March, the business made a Facebook post addressing rumors that the park would close at the end of the month. At the time, Adventure Landing announced that the statements were false and that the business had “no current plans to close its doors.”
Last year, another Adventure Landing location in Jacksonville Beach, Florida closed after 30 years. “Watching generations of families create joy together—from parents who visited as children now bringing their own kids—has been an extraordinary blessing from God,” Woodburn said in a press release.
The business still has North locations in Gastonia and Winston-Salem, along with Dallas, Texas and Buffalo, New York.
