On Aug. 15, the Carolina Hurricanes Yard Sale will take over the South Plaza and Box Office at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh. The sale promises steep discounts, exclusive memorabilia and a festive atmosphere. The annual off-season staple is the perfect chance for fans to gear up ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Whether you’re hunting for a new game-day outfit or a piece of franchise history, this year’s sale has a bit of everything.
On the retail side, fans can merchandise like jerseys, polos, quarter zips, youth apparel, women’s apparel, and collectibles. According to the Hurricanes, the items will see huge markdowns ranging from 50% to 80% off.
Additionally, die-hard fans looking to take home team-issued gear should plan to arrive early, according to the team. Player equipment inventory is reduced compared to previous years, making the available items “extremely limited.”
However, shoppers will still have a chance to snag used sticks, hoodies and running shoes used by past and present Canes players.
The Carolina Hurricanes Foundation is also having a sale of unique Canes memorabilia and autographed collectibles like game-worn jerseys, replica sticks, and pucks.

For the general public, the gates open at 11 a.m. and the event wraps up at 1 p.m.
For 2026-27 Season Ticket Members, early VIP access begins at 8 a.m. Entry is limited to the number of seats on the member account.
Fans should enter by Gate E off Edwards Mill Road, with designated parking available in the 1000 and 6000 lots starting as early as 5 a.m. for true early birds.
Shoppers should come prepared, the team said. The event is entirely cashless, so bring your credit cards. Additionally, the sales are final, with no returns or exchanges are allowed. All items are sold as-is.
