Patch Pals were created through a partnership with Bark, which is known for the canine-focused BarkBox subscriptions. The treats will be the first-ever Girl Scout cookies made for dogs.
Meanwhile, Sparkables are described as the Girl Scouts’ “first allergy-friendly” cookies. The organization said it teamed up with Partake, which makes baked goods in a facility free of eggs, nuts and other common allergens.
“The crunchy oatmeal cookie features chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles, giving families navigating the most common food allergies a way to feel more included during Girl Scout Cookie season,” the North Carolina Coastal Pines council wrote.

The new items are expected to hit the market along with Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties and other longtime selections. But two past flavors — Girl Scout S’mores and Toast-Yay! — went away in 2025, The N&O previously reported.
The local Girl Scout council on its website said its members sold more than 2.3 million boxes of cookies last season. Money from sales goes toward activities for girls, such as outdoor excursions and community service projects.
In the Triangle, the next cookie season is scheduled for Jan. 6 through March 14.
But anyone interested in buying Patch Pals or Sparkables may want to mark their calendars for even earlier. That’s because the two flavors “will be available exclusively online for direct shipping beginning January 12, 2027,” according to the North Carolina Coastal Pines council.
The council includes central and eastern parts of the state, including Wake, Durham, Orange, Chatham and Johnston counties. Cookie schedules in other parts of North Carolina may vary, so you can check for their availability at girlscouts.org/cookies.
