It’s Week 7 of the high school football season for Triangle-area teams and after this week, there are just four regular-season Fridays left.

Here is a look at key games in the region, the full Triangle-area and statewide schedules and the Talking Preps NC preview show.
Southeast Raleigh (5-1, 2-0 Greater Neuse) at Clayton (6-0, 2-0), 7:30 p.m.: These two teams, both ranked in the NC Super 25, are tied for the league lead, just above Cleveland (5-0, 1-0). After rolling to the state semifinals last season, Clayton has been stingy on defense, allowing 50 points in six games and allowing only two opponents to reach double figures. Seniors Kaiden Blackwell and Kabari Brantley have three sacks each. Junior Daniel Lovelace-Davis has two interceptions. Offensively, senior Damacio Cueto (1,123 yards passing, 16 TDs) and Terris Hobbs (684 yards rushing, 14 TDs) are having big years.
Southeast Raleigh has won two in a row since a 23-21 loss at Cardinal Gibbons Sept. 10. Both were close games: 27-23 over Garner and 33-31 over Fuquay-Varina. The Bulldogs get nearly 300 yards per game rushing, led by seniors Christian Freeman (845 yards, 10 TDs) and James Adams IV (680, seven TDs). Keeping Clayton’s offense sitting beside coach Scott Chadwick by rushing the ball could be a good formula.

Millbrook (4-0-1, 1-0-1 CAP 8) at Leesville Road (3-2, 2-0), 7 p.m.: Millbrook comes off last week’s controversial game against Rolesville. The matchup was called off after fighting among fans, in and outside the stadium, forcing play to be suspended twice. The game was declared a tie. Millbrook has only allowed 17 points all season, with three shutouts. Leesville Road has won three straight since an 0-2 start. Junior Jaylen Mickles has three interceptions.
Rolesville (2-2-1), 1-0-1 CAP 8) at Broughton (3-2, 1-1), 7 p.m.: It’s the third game in a week for Rolesville. The Rams played Millbrook on Sept. 25, blew out Richmond Senior, 35-0, Monday, finishing a game that had been postponed earlier in the season. And Friday, the team faces Broughton. The Caps beat Corinth Holders, 39-35, last week behind a monster game from QB Everett Borden, a 6-1, 180-pound junior who threw for 425 yards and five touchdowns and was named an N.C. player of the week on Talking Preps.
